Wildflower is a speckly painted breath of fresh air in yarn form! Featuring golden yellows, soft beachy pinks and sapphire blues, Wildflower was inspired by my favorite notions bag! Wildflower is one of those colors that receives a little extra time and effort because each skein is individually hand painted and then speckled. When prepping the yarn for WIldflower, the skein is divided into 3 sections. I paint the first section a lovely golden yellow with a hint of sandy tan color thrown in. The next section is painted a gorgeous soft beachy pink and the last section is left white. After the color sets, the yarn is then immersed in water and speckled with a rich sapphire blue and a tiny bit of black on the white and pink for contrast.
