Sunkissed is a bright and happy tonal color to celebrate the last month of Summer. To achieve this sunny tonal color, I lay a gentle orange over the cream of the yarn in strategic places. Can a color be gentle? The specific shade of this orange can definitely be described as gentle. It’s much like the color of a persimmon fruit. Next, I pour a happy yellow all over the skein. This yellow is very much like the yellow of a California Poppy. Together these colors give Sunkissed a great depth while maintaining a cheery upbeat vibe. I don’t think I’ve ever used so many adjectives to describe a yarn color before but they are all well deserved!
